Enriching the places we live and work.
The Foldcraft Foundation
An organization created and run by our employee owners to expand our global impact.
Foldcraft is fortunate to have a diverse workforce. To support the diversity of our employee owners, the Foldcraft Foundation provides opportunities for employees and their families to participate in activities which foster awareness and create change toward a more just global society. In order to support this goal, the Foundation has created the Cross Boundaries program. This program provides funding assistance for approved programs and travel costs related to global education experiences.
The Foldcraft Foundation supports efforts and projects throughout the world that:
- Enhance Global Education
- Create economic self-sufficiency and equity
- Foster human rights
- Foster social justice and eliminate political, economic, social, religious and cultural oppression
- Encourage corporations and other businesses to become involved in global education efforts
- Promote transformational education and leadership development.
Recent grants have funded scholarships for students in Haiti and Bolivia, build healthy indoor cooking stoves in Jalapa, Nicaragua and assisted immigrants assimilate in southeast, MN where one of our manufacturing facilities is located.
The grant allowed us to develop instructional curriculum for community-based English as a Second Language instruction.

Partners from the Heart
To enable our employees a way to collectively impact the lives of others, Foldcraft encourages employee contributions to its' Partners of the Heart program. This program supports two children in Guatemala with education expenses. Giving as little as $1 out of each paycheck, the money is funneled through an organization called Common Hope to help fulfill student needs.
Foldcraft's oldest sponsored child, William, has benefited from the program for the last fourteen years and will graduate in December 2016. We are proud of William's accomplishments and look forward to taking a group of employees to see him graduate! Our second sponsored child, Danila is in 1st grade. We are honored to be able to contribute to her continued growth and are optimistic about our ability to help her through her graduation as well.
Giving back to the community in which we live and work is an important part of how Foldcraft Co. does business. Charitable involvement is an essential element in supporting Foldcraft Co. employee's total well-being and we proudly support organizations including the American Red Cross, Youthlink and Second Harvest Heartland through a variety of company-sponsored initiatives.
