2019 Foldcraft Scholarship Opportunity

Posted on May 06, 2019

Our employee-owned business was established from the philanthropic roots of our founder, Harold Nielsen, who gave his business to the employees who helped him grow it. Foldcraft's employee-owners visualize giving back as an important part of living and working in a local community. The Foldcraft Scholarship Committee is proud to announce that there will be an opportunity for qualified individuals to receive a $500 scholarship to support plans to continue their education beyond high school. The scholarships are awarded to students who show leadership and community involvement in their community outside of scholastic activities.

Foldcraft will award two individual $500 scholarships - one is reserved for a Kenyon-Wanamingo graduating senior and one for a Foldcraft employee-owner or the spouse, grandchild, or dependent child of a Foldcraft employee-owner who is graduating from high school in 2019 and planning to attend an accredited institution offering post-secondary education and/or career training and instruction.

Selection of the recipients will be conducted in an anonymous review of the essays by the Foldcraft Scholarship Committee. All decisions are final. Scholarship recipients will be announced by June 1, 2019. A $500 scholarship check will be issued by Foldcraft directly payable to the financial institution of the student no later than September 1, 2019. Questions regarding the scholarship program or application process should be directed to Julie McGrath at jmcgrath@foldcraft.com.
